Jeff tried to manage at school, but it was hard to keep Lou off his mind. It felt wrong to push him out of his head, but what else was there to do? Liu was in Juvenile Detention for something Jeff did, and no one believed him.
The feeling of blood spill hadn't returned yet. He hoped it would stay that way.
Only two weeks after Liu's arrest, his mother came to his room to inform him they were all going to a birthday party. It was a ten-year-old's birthday, and that didn't excite Jeff. "Mom, I don't wanna go to some kid's party. I don't know them."
"That's why we're going." his mother said. "We'll get to meet new people. Maybe you'll make a new friend."
"Pfft. Right."
His mother gave him a disappointing look. "We're going. There's no getting out of it."
One week later, they all walk across the street to attend the party. He didn't wear anything fancy, only a pair of jeans, black tee, and white hoodie.
Jeff was sent outside, and was greeted by the birthday boy. He was given a small water gun and a cowboy hat. Jeff looked around him and sighed. Everyone getting shot up with water was amusing, if he was honest with himself. He soon joined in on the fun, and was actually enjoying himself.
That was when the back gate opened. Jeff froze when he saw Randy, followed by Kieth and Troy.
"Jeff!" Randy almost screamed. "We got a score to settle!"
Jeff took a step back as Randy walked right up to him. "Idiot, my brother's already in Juvie, isn't that enough for you?"
Randy chuckled "Oh no, Jeff. No no no no nooooo. No YOU'RE the one who did THIS to me, not him!" He lifted his left hand revealing a cast. "So you're gonna pay for that," he said, revealing a gun. "You're gonna pay sooooo badly."
Jeff awoke.
This really needed to stop. This wasn't a past he cared about. He only cared about who he was going to gut next, when the call came.
Unfortunately, now he had a set target. At the very least, it would more than likely be a challenge. Smiling to himself at the thought of that, he looked out the window of his hotel room.
Knock knock!
Jeff stood silent. After a moment, the door opened. A man's voice said, "Hey, we've been getting complaints about a really bad smell coming from your roo..." his voice trailed off as he noticed the pile of dead bodies.
Jeff looked over his shoulder behind him, slowly. A smile slowly creeped across his whole face. "Something wrong... sir?" Jeff said softly.
The man screamed, and ran off, leaving the door open.
Jeff chuckled some, and looked out the window again. It was time to move on again. I'm coming for you... I'll find you...
...and then I'll gut you.
